We are currently seeking an outgoing, self- motivated, CAD operator to join our team. Candidate must be dependable, detail oriented, able to manage multiple priorities under time sensitive deadlines while gaining experience in the fire alarm industry.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Keeping track of incoming jobs & outgoing submissions.
- Meeting deadlines.
- Quick turnover of revisions & as-builts.
- Creating & editing CAD drawings.
- Communicating with sales reps and reflect project requirements on drawings.
- Reading layout drawings using AutoCAD Software
Qualifications:
- Proficient with AutoCAD.
- Ability to understand and interpret contracts, proposals and purchase orders (inhouse and outside contractors).
- General administrative skills including knowledge of MS Word, Excel and ADOBE.
- Strong communication skills required - both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented.
- Dependable.
- Works well under pressure and able to manage multiple priorities under time sensitive deadlines.
- Ability to work as a team member and create and maintain productive relationships with all employees.
- Relevant degree and/or experience.
